Glossary
Lithobraking
Noun. Stopping by hitting the ground. See also: recovery.
Lithobrake™ is a spaceflight simulator on its own custom engine. Build a rocket at Meridian, the space center, then fly it through the real Solar System at one-tenth scale.
The engine was written for this game, so craft and stations can get very large. Some flights end in orbit. The rest are lithobraking.
Coming soon. Early build. More to come.

Features
Everything below runs in the current build. The pictures are drawn on the grid of the game's typeface, two screen pixels to a picture pixel.

Rings
included.
A ringed giant, night side. In-game.
Crew
Lithonauts
They leave the capsule. Most come back.
Crew climb out on EVA, float, walk and carry cargo, and a helmet camera shows the view from inside the visor. The face on the visor is drawn in the game's own type.

Every flight is recorded. These are stills.

In-game photographs from the current build. Replays render to film offline, at whatever quality you have time for.

Conic
engine
Written for this game. Built to go big.
Lithobrake runs on CONIC, its own engine, made from scratch for spaceflight rather than borrowed from another kind of game. It is why you can build massive craft and stations, and keep a whole fleet flying.
Massive craft
Rockets with more parts than you will want to stage.
Stations
Dock module after module. The station keeps growing.
Fleets
Ships stay where you left them: in orbit, on the ground, or in pieces.
Milestones
Roadmap
Order, not dates.
The game is built in five milestones. Several are under way at once; the release waits for all of them.
Milestone A: Foundation
The engine, the interface and the simulation under everything.
In progressMilestone B: First mission
Build, launch, reach orbit, come home and save the game.
In testingMilestone C: Lunar program
Transfers, landings, docking, EVA and crews that stay out there.
In testingMilestone D: Planets
Other worlds, aircraft, rovers, stations, a career and mod tools.
StartedMilestone E: Release
Performance, co-op over the internet, polish and accessibility.
